Troy Welch (Owner) served in the U.S. Marines where he specialized in Motor Transportation, attaining the rank of Corporal - he served in the Desert Storm era. After leaving the Marines, he entered the oil field and rose to a Rig Manager in the oilfield industry. Troy has since assembled a high level of Welding and Fabrication experience.

Troy has managed Rig Welders for oil companies such as Shell, Exxon, Mountain Drilling, Trinidad, Anadarko, and Advance Rig Services. He was responsible for managing Welders, Fabricators, Electricians, Roughnecks and Hydraulic employees. Troy’s Welding has managed multi-million-dollar projects, while being responsible for estimating expenditures, managing sub-contractors, and able to meet all time limits.
